Friday 03/07/2009: 8.00am: Produced By West Coast Surf Shop

Summary: Early Rain Then Fine. Update 4.05pm

Today: Its been raining on and off all night, which is good news for the gardens but the better news is, its not going to last much longer this morning! The showery rain should ease shortly and we are expecting to see some sunshine before lunchtime with a fine afternoon likely. There will be a fresher feel to the day with a refreshing SW breeze. Potentially a very pleasant afternoon.
Update 4.05pm: A fine afternoon here - blue skies, sunshine and a refreshing force 3 SW wind.

Tonight: Clear spells - shower risk by dawn.

Saturday: There are going to be some showers around on Saturday so its going to be a bit of a hit and miss affair which means the detail is impossible to predict. Some sunny spells are likely and we could see a pretty good day but there is a definite risk of a shower or two. Feeling pleasantly cooler than of late.

Sunday: Still a shower risk but probably less of one than Saturday and there is a good chance of us seeing a mostly fine day with some pleasant sunshine and a moderate S or SW wind.

Monday: Sunny spells with the chance of showers.

Further Outlook: The latest Met Office extended outlook is shown below.

"UK Outlook for Wednesday 8 Jul 2009 to Friday 17 Jul 2009:
Pressure is expected to be low to the north and northeast of the UK and high to the southwest for much, if not all, of this forecast period. Most places will have sunshine and showers on each day. Showers should be generally light and passing across southwestern areas, but across northern and eastern parts, some showers are likely to become heavy during afternoons and evenings with a risk of thunder. Towards the end of next week, drier weather across southwestern areas may spread further northeastwards for a time, before showery west or northwesterly winds become established again for the following week. Temperatures rather below average at first should rise to near normal or just above, so with strong sunshine between some of the showers, it should feel warm at times. Updated: 1119 on Fri 3 Jul 2009."
